Jamia Madeenthunnoor Success Stories-2

At Jamia Madeenathunnoor, we take pride in guiding our graduates towards fulfilling futures. It's a tradition for Asathida (Teachers) and parents to carefully consider each student's aspirations and talents as they prepare for higher studies. One such shining example is Fazal Nurani, a bright and ambitious student from our tenth graduating batch, who in 2017 expressed his dream: to serve his nation as a civil servant. Today, Fazal stands as a shining testament to Jamia Madeenathunnoor's transformative power, having achieved his goal as a member of the prestigious Indian Foreign Service (IFS).

His journey underscores the institution's ability to nurture aspirations and shape destinies. The Civil Services Exam, renowned for its rigor, was deemed an insurmountable challenge for someone with a background in Islamic studies. Yet, he defied expectations, proving that dedication and faith can conquer any obstacle.

Academic excellence was a hallmark of his time at Jamia Madeenathunnoor. He consistently secured top marks, starting with the highest possible score in his secondary exams. Beyond academics, he actively participated in co-curricular activities. He was the first from his batch to be published in print media, demonstrating his prowess in writing and communication. His leadership skills shone through his roles as secretary of the Literary Meets Committee and head of the Environmental Hygiene Committee, where he implemented creative changes and fostered a sense of responsibility among his peers.

The dream of joining the Civil Services took root during his high school days. At Jamia Madeenathunnoor, he found the ideal environment to nurture this ambition. Our Civil Services Coaching Center, career guidance classes, and interactions with inspiring individuals all played pivotal roles in his journey. The campus atmosphere, along with the support of his friends and teachers, created a fertile ground for his aspirations to grow. I, as the Rector, often introduced him as a future civil servant, reinforcing his self-belief.

The unwavering support of his friends, teachers, and family, coupled with his own dedication, fueled his success. He maintained excellence in Islamic studies, even amidst demanding Civil Services preparation. His classmates often relied on his meticulously prepared notes, a testament to his commitment to both academic and spiritual growth.

His path was not without its challenges. He faced three setbacks in the Civil Services Exam, reaching the interview stage each time before finally succeeding at the age of 28. Through it all, he persevered, drawing strength from his loved ones, his faith, and the spiritual solace he found in visits to the Markaz seeing eminent scholars like Grand Mufti of India, Sheikh Abubacker Ahmed and Mazars (shrines) like Ajmer Dargah. His parents' consistent belief in his dreams, even in the face of financial constraints, serves as an inspiration to all. His story also highlights the importance of balancing academic pursuits with co-curricular activities. Despite initial hesitations, his active participation in cultural events led to personal growth and valuable experiences.

Fazal's success is a celebration of resilience, hard work, and dedication. It is a testament to the transformative power of Jamia Madeenathunnoor, where dreams are nurtured and destinies are shaped. We invite you to be a part of this journey, to witness the continued success of our students, and to play your role in shaping the future leaders of our nation.
